Any credit card could boost your credit rating if used responsibly. Balances should be kept low. The closer you are to the credit limit the worst score you will have. A credit score will plummet also if you make late payments or do not pay at least your minimum payment amount. For those who have no credit and are having are hard time getting a regular, unsecured credit card, a secured credit card can sometimes be the answer. With this card an individual will deposit money into an account and have a credit card attached to it. The credit card cannot be used over the amount that is in the depositors account.
